Do I need an account?

You need a Turbopuffer API key. The CE quickstart runs the gateway locally in front of your Turbopuffer account without signup or a license key.

Where are my rows stored?

In the Turbopuffer account behind your key, or in the existing store you configure. docker compose down stops the local services.

What is the source license?

The gateway uses BSL 1.1. See licensing for the source license and trademark links.
